Empathy, an essential skill for the emotionally intelligent leader, is understanding the motivations and emotions of others. In this session, participants will learn about the different types of empathy and why it is an essential skill to have as a leader. In addition, participants will learn how to build empathy by combining compassion with efficiency to increase their team's level of performance and well-being. Finally, participants will learn how to demonstrate empathy in a digital world and answer the question many leaders have, "How can I be more empathetic without enabling poor performance?"
