Adults learn in a vastly different manner than children. Yet many professional virtual training sessions are based on studies of how children best learn, missing out on helping adults to acquire new skills effectively. Facilitation is a skill that allows a trainer to help adults connect the new content to their previous experiences and knowledge, thus increasing retention. In this intensive two and half-day workshop, participants will learn how to prepare and deliver training in an engaging manner to adult learners in the classroom environment. This workshop includes many opportunities for participants to practice facilitation, to include a capstone project of delivering a recorded half-hour facilitated session.
