The Basics of Coaching workshop, a prerequisite for Coaching 2.0, guided the participant through understanding what coaching is, how to have a coaching mindset, the skills of active listening and asking questions, and introduced the GROW coaching model. In the Coaching 2.0 course, attendees build on the skills gained through the Basics course by learning how to create the ideal coaching environment; asking quality non-leading, powerful questions; and engaging in specialized coaching techniques such as intruding, acknowledging, challenging, and reframing to help clients gain different perspectives.
